SQ1’s Walk-up Window
In addition to following all of our regularly required food safety practices, the COVID-19 safety protocols at our Lancaster Walk-up Window are as follows:
Our team checks their temperatures before starting each shift.
Our team wears masks and gloves while working.
We provide our team with PPE to use outside of work as needed.
We require all customers to wear masks while ordering and picking up their order. (No mask, no service.)
We will provide disposable masks to those who need them.
We’ve installed a sneeze guard to protect our staff and customers.
We have a chip reader for minimal contact transactions, though we do accept cash.
All drinks and food will be served in disposable containers.
No filling or refilling personal vessels/mugs/travel cups.
All heavy touch points will be sanitized hourly.
Our team will wash/sanitize their hands on an hourly basis (or more if needed).
What our guests can do to help:
Please don’t visit if you’re sick. (Thank you!)
Wear a mask! Yes, even though you’re outside. Yes, even though there’s plexiglass. Keep in mind: There are also others in line or waiting to pick up their order or passing by on the sidewalk. If you’re coming within 6 feet of people, please do them the courtesy of wearing a mask.
Use cashless payment if possible.
SQ1’s Roasting & Training HQ
In addition to following all of our regularly required safety practices, the COVID-19 safety protocols at our Roasting and Training Headquarters in Lancaster are as follows:
Our team checks their temperatures before starting each shift.
Our team wears masks while working.
We provide our team with PPE to use outside of work as needed.
We are prohibiting unnecessary guests/visitors at this time.
Any necessary visitors are required to wear a mask. (We provide disposable masks to those who need them.)
We’ve ensured that our team has a socially distanced working environment.
Our team sanitizes all heavy touch points regularly.
Our team washes/sanitizes their hands on an hourly basis (or more, if needed).
All events, public tastings, and larger classes have been paused until further notice.
Future training class sizes have been limited to ensure that social distancing can be maintained.
When classes resume, students must wear masks while inside our HQ.
